REVITALISING
OUR Hi!STREET

Working with the community to shape the future of Tewkesbury Town Centre

About the project

Tewkesbury Borough Council was successful in bidding for Tewkesbury town to be part of the High Street Heritage Action Zones (HSHAZ) programme, administered by Historic England (you can read more about the HSAZ here).

As part of this we are looking to make enhancements to the streets in the town-centre to make them more attractive and responsive to the needs of visitors and the local community.

To help with this we want to hear from you about your experience of living, working and visiting the town-centre. We want to know what works well, what doesn’t and what changes (if any) you would like to see. We also want to hear from those who perhaps don’t visit frequently about the reasons for this and what would encourage them to visit more often.

To help with this we have set-up up this website where people can drop a pin on a map to tell us about a particular location and/or fill out our short survey.

Fill in a survey for a chance to win Roses Theatre Tickets for 2 or a Book Token.

Thank you to everyone that came to talk to us

A big thank you to everyone who came to speak with us at our pop-up street stalls at the end of June.

We had many conversations over the two days and we are currently analysing all the feedback we received.

Please note, any comments made on the hard copy map have been added to the interactive map which can be accessed from the menu above.
